About the author
Raphael Poss is a senior technology leader and mentor.
His journey started with engineering foundations and a strong initial career in academic research around compiler construction and CPU architecture. He further gained visibility through his senior engineering and architectural professional career in distributed systems and database construction. His experience now encompasses technical, strategic and organizational leadership in prominent tech companies.
He also leads Thaumogen Consulting, a company delivering management consulting, technical engineering, coaching and education services in the Netherlands and internationally.
He has consulted in management and technical roles for Cockroach Labs Inc. and Neon.
He obtained his engineering degree and MSc in computer science in 2003 and holds a doctorate in computer architecture from the University of Amsterdam since 2012. He has an extensive publication record and is certified for teaching in Dutch higher education.
